    Yeah I had checked Stringjoy and they dont even sell flatwounds there. $100 for a custom set is not going to fly with me though.

    Currently use the Rotosound RS775LD, which works great for everything except the 5th string which I tune down to Ab. I love the feel of the strings but that 5th is just a bit too flabby. Any recommendations on what to use? Bass is a Squier Affinity JBass V.
