I am unashamedly in love with The Beatles; their entire music catalogue, solo careers, and their contributions to the evolution of music and rock & roll. Not to mention the incredible number of firsts they achieved.

Other inspirations include Guns N' Roses (specifically Duff McKagan, who is one of my top three favorite bassists and a massive inspiration to me as a bass player), The Yardbirds, Cream (Jack Bruce is incredible!), John Paul Jones, James Jamerson, Jimi Hendrix (David Noel Redding... Incredible!), 'The Band' and all that they've contributed to music. I especially admire Rick Danko for his musical talents, awesome bass playing, and amazing vocals. John Entwistle is truly one of the greats, along with Donald "Duck" Dunn, Victor Wooten, and Red Hot Chili Peppers (Who doesn't admire Flea for his insane bass skills and stage presence), Iron Maiden (Steve Harris' playing is top-notch and unique), Oasis, Carol Kaye (how great were "The Wrecking Crew"), and Metallica (Cliff Burton, & Jason Newsted were exceptional bassists, it's shameful how the latter was treated). In my opinion, Megadeth was far better than Metallica.

I must also mention 'Scott's Bass Lessons' as I have gleaned so much knowledge and honed my skills from watching his videos and tutorials.
