    New to effects.....what is being used on Stranglehold by Ted Nugent

    If you think about it, most effects are interrupting the signal in some sort of way. I like the octave pedal because I have a lot of control over how much interruption I get, it also thickens the tone and adds sustain. It really does work quite well.

    Carmine Rojas - Joe Bonamassa. Great concert, I was really close on Carmine's side of the stage. What an awesome show that was. Carmine's ability in the pocket with Joe just shredding up the place was amazing.

    New member, great thread. Amazing amount of life to it. I'm a little shocked, unless I missed it, I didn't see Lee Rocker of the Stray Cats mentioned. He's the reason I hope to learn the upright some day. Holding his own with Brian Setzer on it is an amazing accomplishment.
