thanks for the help guys. other than in terms of convenience, pedals seem to be the way to go. the polytune was actaully recommended to me at the store, that along with the boss tuner so i'll probs with the the polytune.

so tell me more about room noise, and what i can do to make the room better. what do i need for the room? right now the room has drapes all around it, covering the concrete (its in a basement). we have a separate room for vocals that has mattress foam all around it but thats about it.
