    BOSS OC-3 'OCT 1' issue

During further testing I noticed that it looks like the pedal behaves identically to 'Poly' mode, even when set to 'OC-2'. Bottom line is that I am still unable to add any 'OCT 1' signal in 'OC-2' mode with OCT 2 and dry signal turned down, which contradicts the manual and some sample settings.

    BOSS OC-3 'OCT 1' issue

In short, yes. I don't have the possibility to compare it to another OC-3, unfortunately. I can say that in Poly mode, it definitely adds the octave and I can achieve a reasonably good-sounding effect. In Drive mode, it’s the same—it works, and I can achieve both a non-octave drive sound and an...

    BOSS OC-3 'OCT 1' issue

Thank you for the suggestion. Yes, Poly mode would add a very limited octave sound, for the lowest notes only with this setting. I am (unfortunately) certain that the pedal is in 'OC 2' mode (the middle setting of the 3-way switch), as shown in the attached image.

    BOSS OC-3 'OCT 1' issue

Hi everyone, I recently purchased a used BOSS OC-3 and I’m having an issue with the 'OC-2' mode. I noticed that the 'OCT 1' knob adds nothing to the overall sound. I’ve been testing it on my pedalboard through headphones (no amp), and I have already tried the following: - I’ve read the manual...

    VOX Stomplab 1b problem

Hello All, yes there are more of us with this problem. I own an SL1B (except for this issue, great sounding and also a joy to the eye) and noticed the sound cutting for a fraction of a second. It was very hard to catch it as once I noticed something is off and looked at the unit, it was already...

    Fillmore bass strings?

Went to the shop to buy a set but to my further questions regarding quality they said it is comparable to Red Label Warwicks - not what I am looking for at the moment. (Respect though for the Red Labels, when I was a student they were the perfect cheap strings to buy to sound fresh on stage...

    Fillmore bass strings?

Any experiences with Fillmore bass strings, please? (045-105. Nickel roundwound, particularly.) Their price is good but cannot find any reviews.

    Yosemite / CS 60s / Fender Original for a '86 Jazz Bass?

Many thanks for the suggestions! I have never thought about changing the standard 250K but will consider. (Thinking further, maybe I can even try to come up with small connectors soldered to the pots and wires' ends so that I can try variations without re-soldering and see with different pots...

    Yosemite / CS 60s / Fender Original for a '86 Jazz Bass?

Hi All and hope to be at the right place/list with the first post. Recently started to play again my '86 MIJ Jazz Bass and decided to upgrade it with new pickups. I would like to 'keep it Fender', considering Fender Original, Yosemite and CS 60s. Back then I bought the bass with a Badass II...
