The Mars Volta, all of there albums apart from Octahedron (bit wimpy in my opinion). There album The Bedlam in Goliath is there heaviest one so far.

2 years ago i knew very little about music theory. A couple of months ago i took my grade 7 music theory test and got 82 out of 100. I now find theory quite easy (and interesting) It will make sense eventually. Stick at it!

I use 25db and they are perfect!

A few of those seem more iconic than actually being amazing guitarists (The edge for one, i think he's terrible)
