    One of my basses is an Ibanez RDGR (Roadgear), with a J on the neck and a splittable humbucker in the bridge; can this be considered a PJ too? Because is one of my favourites, one of the best I ever played (active electronics also)...

    High-Mass Bridges- Loved or Hated?

    I have a '90s Fender Jazz Bass (all stock hardware etc.) and a 2004 Ibanez RDGR Roadgear 500 with a huge high mass bridge. There IS a big difference in sustain, i feel it with both basses unplugged - I chose the unplugged way because of the active electronics on the Ibanez.
