I have been looking for a jazz bass for awhile. Found a 2001 Jazz Bass Nature Finish ($800). Would this be a better buy than a new Mexican FSR Standard ($500)? I played the American and did like it better. I just want to make sure $800 is an ok price.

ireal b is a cheaper, more portable, alternative to band in a box. It does not offer nearly as many features but allows you to make very simple backing tracks. I use it all the time on my iPod touch along with guitar toolkit for looking up scales and arpeggios.
