My first Bass! Hondo 2 SG short neck 4 string... I wish like hell I could find one! I gutted all the parts off of it, including the neck and transfered them to a bass i made in woodshop in 1985... lol

Okay, So now here is my question... I have an Ampeg pb800 which is rated 300 watts @ 8 ohms, 550 watts @ 4 ohms, and 800 watts at 2 ohms. So now, I have a 4ohm 2x10 cab and want to add a 4x10 cab. If I add a 4 ohm 4x10 cab I know that it would then be 2 ohms, and my head says it can handle that...

I just bought an Ampeg PB800. In the Technical Specifications section of the manual it lists the Output Power Rating as follows: 800 watts RMS, 2 ohm load, 120 VAC. 550 watts RMS, 4 ohm load, 120 VAC. It doesnt list what the watts RMS is with my 8 ohm cabinet. I have found online...
