The problem only arises when the front panel moves freely, so if I can replace the handle, or find a different screw to hold it in place, it should be fine. Thank you for clearing up the problem.

I've found that if I duct tape the front panel to the top and side in place of the handle, there is no problem, so I can use that as a temporary solution.

I think it's a problem with the physical condition of the amp. The right side handle is missing, and it allows the front panel to move away from the rest of the amp. I believe that this is exposing the inside electronics and causing the problem.

There is no effects loop on the amp.
