Thanks. That was after a deep wax. It’s since had a couple more waxed and I used some boiled linseed oil on the ebony fingerboard. I won’t do that again for a few years most likely as the environment here (NZ) isn’t near as dry as it was around Berkeley in Cali.

This is my 2000 Thumb BO 4 Fretless I picked up a little over a year ago. Been wanting one for over 30 years and finally had a chance from a gentleman that was thinning his herd. This was number 12 for him I believe :)

And I've just become a member of the club as well. I bought mine (BG250 115 MkII) used in the US from a gentleman in Virginia who held it for me until I could have a listen. Loved it from the first note I heard from his bass. So far, so good with all the features working. I do have trouble at...
