Playing almost 31 years. I come from a (working) musucal family. I play a lot of instruments but electric bass is my go to on stage and to write.
I've pl a red in a few bands, mainly originals. I have a dry and dark sense of humor. Much like Zappa humor belongs in music. At least for me.
I'm a history geek, including mu a ic, and a gear geek. I'm judgemental about gear. I can make a $50 dollar pawnshop beater do the same thing a $1500 Gibson can.
People cringe but I change bridges, pickups, and electronics if need be. I guess it's lame to say but I feel like if you need to tailor the instrument to yourself. But I do try to keep them from looking ugly.
I have a little class.
My day gig is as a tattoo artist, snd I'm working on my first novel.
Yes, I am actually a colonel. I'm from down south, and it's honorary. Im the last person you'd want at the head of your regiment.
