Here is mine. I took my well-used Am Standard 60th Anniversary Precision and added a reverse P for a bridge pickup. The bridge pickup is an EMG Geezer Butler pickup. The stacked knob is Volume/Tone and the single knob is for pickup Blend.

D'Addario NYXL. 45-100 ( I only use this guage for MM basses b/c that is the stock guage they use. My other basses are 45-105. To me, they sound like slightly broken in stainless steel, but hold that tone for longer, and are gentler to the frets than stainless steel.

Its a tone thing for me.. if you are playing punk/hardcore adjacent music, often times a pick sound is the tone that works with the overall sound. Not saying you can't play those styles without one, but the grindy/clank tone is often more appropriate. So for bands I play in, its about 50/50...
