Fender MIJ Junior Collection Jazz Bass Club

Got my Jnr back from the shop - fixed the volume controls and added the Lindy Jazz pickups. Bit of a gap around the bridge pickup but all good from me!

Fender MIJ Junior Collection Jazz Bass Club

Yeah really weird, especially since it happened to both vol controls. Maybe something just needs a bit of a tighten. Thanks for the additional info too - very useful Oh and I have a sunburst!

Fender MIJ Junior Collection Jazz Bass Club

Hello gang. Got my jazz junior a few months ago. Lovely bass but... Both volume knobs now turn continuously so will have to get that fixed. And with that in mind, if I am going to take it to a shop might as well roll in a couple of upgrades too. So, sorry for the utterly noob question but...

    Sandberg TM4 tone - options?

I don't have any experience with the Blacklabels I am afraid, as my TM4 came with the stock Delanos and were crazy bright. But when I was doing my little bit of research it seemed that Blacklabels were kinda inbetween the Delanos and the Häussel. The Häussel pickups were deemed to be a bit more...

    Sandberg TM4 tone - options?

I ended up replacing both the J and the MM with the Haussels, but left the pre amp as is. For sure it contributed to the sound mellowing out, and I am sufficiently satisfied (for now!) not to make anymore changes. I actually picked up a JMJ Mustang as well and I would say the TM4 is a nice...

    Sandberg TM4 tone - options?

yeah I hear you bud. I think I am recalibrating my expectations here. I do intend on keeping my P bass. But I do want to warm up the TM4 a fair bit, as I do just find it a bit too 'hifi' for my taste and will be looking into some of the options as listed previously. I really am keen on keeping...

    Sandberg TM4 tone - options?

Damn, that could be the ticket. Will keep an eye out and see if they come into stock any time soon

    Sandberg TM4 tone - options?

For me the Sandberg really is a quality instrument, so I have no problems in fit, finish or playability. Interesting take on the Curtis Novak, I didn't know that such a thing existed honestly

    Sandberg TM4 tone - options?

    Sandberg TM4 tone - options?

I had the very same conversation with my gf about needing a couple of basses, and now I can finally offer her some proof

    Sandberg TM4 tone - options?

Ah man amazing. Thanks for taking the time to write the post. Lots of great options to explore, and also quite reassuring that someone else has kind of had a similar experience to me.

    Sandberg TM4 tone - options?

Totally get your point there, I guess it's a never-ending journey to get that sweet spot of tone and playability and a finite amount of time and money Think I will tinker for a little while and see where I end up. I love the body of the Sandberg and it would be a real shame to give up on that

    Sandberg TM4 tone - options?

Perhaps (to butcher the analogy) it's more like a Ferrari with a rev restricted engine? Don't get the full potential but get the experience?
