The fretboard wear is just superficial--no grooves or ugliness. The previous owner played with a super light touch and I used Sadowsky flatwounds, so it's super smooth. That ebony fretboard is definitely difficult to photograph. Thanks for your interest!

Hi emblymouse, The string spacing at the nut appears to be 9mm, the nut is 1.75 inches wide. The preamp and pickups are all Warwick MEC. From what I recall, this particular base was pre-Corvette and was simply called the FNA Jazzman. I believe they're now only available as a custom shop...
