It’s from an old cort curbow, researching the hardware on those has been a pain.

Finally added the eq. It’s old and big so some grinding was necessary, if this bass wasn’t so cheap I’d never consider this. That being said I’m happy with the results.

Got mine a while back and damn I love this bass. So I decided to beef it up with the hardware from and old cort curbow. I haven’t really noticed a change in the sound from the heavier bridge but the balance has greatly improved. Next will be to add the pre-amp but given that it has four knobs...

I bought a pack of Ibanezs iebs5 strings for my gsrm25 mikro bass and the strings are too short. The pack says 28.6 scale and I measured the bass just to make sure but the strings taper about an inch from the nut. Did I get a bad pack or am I missing something here?
