If you are referring to the volume being the rear knob, and the tone being the front, that is Yamaha's standard wiring. I have a BBNE1 that I dearly love. Best 5 string in my opinion. Good luck!

Working man blues. No one has ever been able to reproduce the original played by Roy Nichols. I have heard it recorded several times since, and they are all off timing comparatively.

Two basses come to mind. The Yamaha Nathan East original B Beast, and the Fender Roscoe Beck bass. These two signatures are not duplications of another production with alterations. These two are a completely stand alone instrument. They have a configuration like no other before it's conception...

I stand corrected. After further research, the Asat cut continued using the three bolt neck until 2004-2005. All the standard body shapes changed by 1998. Sorry for the confusion on my part. The information disregarded the Asat style.

The pics show this as a three bolt neck. G&L adopted a four bolt neck pattern in 1998. 1997 was the last year for three bolt necks according to web. I believe this bass is a bit older than 2002. Just for informational help. FYI I have a three bolt and prefer the sound.
