    I'm in! I just bought my first bass, a 55-01! Haven't gotten any good pictures yet, but it's a 2011 limited quilted blue. Now, any advice on how to tell the wife?

    Which mid level 5 string? Lakland, Yamaha, Carvin, Fernandes content.

    I own the Lakland and my old bass player (I'm a guitar player) has the carvin... I swear by my Lakland and he swears by his carvin. I figure can't go wrong with either!
