Current Setup: 56/57 Fender; Precision '56 neck w/telecaster style headstock on '57 body and original case in primo shape {Standard practice at Fender was to use up the old parts before new.} Refinished with BMG active pickups w/9V pre-amp. Sounds awesome, but; I plan on sending to Fender custom shop for original two-tone burst finish and 57 reissue pickups with correct reissue pickguard. Mine is cracked...

I would not mention a guitar in a bass forum, but I bought this in NYC at Rudy's amp shop (Upstairs 4th floor around the corner from Rudy's main store.
I saw Les and his Trio play that night at the Iridium Jazz Club (Mon. Dec 8,2008) Nikki Parrott is the virtuoso female Upright Bass player. Fantastic, as are the rythym guitar and piano as well. She just looks hotter. Les signed my Guitar;
"To Keith, Keep on pickin!
Les Paul". Les plays two shows (8 and 10 PM at the Iridium) every Monday. He is still awesome at 93 years young!
If you can't see him live, get the DVD "Les Paul, Chasing Sound." it has the original PBS doc shot in 2005 plus 90 minutes of extras, including a complete performance at the Iridium.

Gigs and Ensembles: DadzBluz; Local Gigs. I want to go to England and play there for a couple of years.
