That's a fair question. I just think I'd miss the range of the G-string. Maybe, maybe not. I also tend to just dive in and figure stuff out. While not the same, I've gotten decent at muting the other strings on my 8-string by resting my palm on the lower strings when doing leads/riffs higher-up...

Thanks! I think that may have swayed me to get EHB over a BTB. The EHB1505MS also comes in a similar grey/ice finish I was looking at in the BTB805MS, but that light weight, balance, and more wieldy(?) overall reach and design sound quite appealing. Especially as I get older, sad to say.

Is that because of the effects of any gain or something else? Also, if you were to pick one between a 37" and a 34" (or in this case a multiscale version with those on lowest strings), which would be your first choice?
