    Double Bass What strings are you playing

    On my '40 Kay C-1: first set Zyex mediums: great sound but a little too stiff for me; current set Evah Pirazzi slaps all synthetic. No complaints, great sound and feel. Missy Raines uses Zyex on her 38 Kay. not sure the gauge.
