Wasn´t intended to lure anyone. :) I exchanged it for two reasons: firstly, the volume difference between passive and active mode was somewhat suspicious – perhaps something was wrong. And secondly, I'm just used to playing five strings, so it's much more comfortable to play the V7-5 than the P7-4.

I traded in my fretless and now I have this little gem. Took it to band practice for the first time yesterday. And even though the two (V7 Swamp Ash-5 Reissue vs. V7 Alder-5 FL) look roughly the same, the difference in sound is clear. My bandmates had a definitive favourite.
