Hallo, Axtman's question about "the" SWR sound from May 2008 you only can reply uncompletely. SWR amps deliver a something special sound character that is unique. I would name it creamy, analog and organic - simply tremendous and typical for SWR. I think in the beginning it's been pure chance...
