Nice work!! Looks like it came that way from the factory.

These are Gotoh gb707 tuners. No drilling was needed. I liked the gold hardware better than the black on this bass.

I've noticed the same thing with my 2004 legend. The volume pots on these basses are linear, giving them an on/off caracter. Perhaps switching these out to audio pots might help. I've recently ditched the bts i had in it in favour of a passive tone control. So thats 2 volume, 1 tone, 1 dummy...

Fernandes used to make a neck through Precision bass. I always thought these were great looking!! Maybe a Spector P bass like this. Creme Dimarzio Pickups........ Yummm
