    Finally pulled the electronics out. Here's a pic of the controls PCB. The only identifying text I've seen says "interrupt"

    You know what's funny? I was scrolling through thousands of bass pictures this morning, and Moon was the closest I came to! But they don't have slanted bridge pickups, as far as I've seen.

    I put a set of tapered D'addarios on my new (to me) Peavey bass last week. The E sounded like it was running through a fuzz box. I'd actually dig the sound, if I could turn it off. I tried everything, too. D'addario is replacing the string, and afterwards, I found the culprit. Dig the E...

    Howdy! I'm trying to identify a bass I've had for 25+ years. Hoping y'all can help. Things I know: It's a transparent(ish) red Jazz body, with rear route for controls. It's active. Pickups are standard J width and slanted. No PG. The nut is 42mm, but it's 5 string, 4+1, presumably...

    1980s Peavey Foundation appreciation thread

    Well, since this thread keeps hanging on, can I join? Picked this up today for $100. I didn't expect it to be in as good of shape as it is. Remarkably clean, as a matter of fact. Stoked. Looking forward to getting some appropriate strings on it and digging in for a bit.
