Hey I just picked up a new set of D'Addario EXL160 Nickel Wound strings, and noticed that all the strings on my current Spector Euro 5 (2003/4) and it turns out the .135 string can't fit in the bridge. I see there's an option for a tapered .135, and I think the rest will fit, but does it matter...

I did read an old thread Jimmy posted in where someone recommended to practice SA always, but when playing play however. I think if I work on SA I'll be able to play more fluidly. Thanks for everyone's input, Jimmy you've convinced me to at least practice SA heavily

Thanks! And yeah, I echo your feelings on the ergonomics and pre-amp. I even tested my old bass and new bass with the same amp settings. When turned to full volume on my old bass, I'd get maybe about 1/2 of the volume I now get from my Euro turned just 25% up on both pickups. No effort creates...
