I ordered directly. Initially it was supposed to be shipped in one day.. 1,5 weeks later and 4 e-mail further, still no shipment. Not sure if they aren't on stock or if there are some other issues.

Uninspiring update. I cancelled my order after two weeks and 5 times the promise "it will be shipped tomorrow".. I already finished the project I was hoping to use it on. Maybe I'll buy one locally after the summer holidays

regarding the strings being misaligned. That's just the photo's I guess. Strings run perfectly down the middle of the two pickup polepieces.

Yeah it wasn't shielded. I shielded the control cavity to start with and the buzz is a lot less now. Indeed a sub $5 fix. Although it's not dead quiet, but good enough to not bother me.

Thanks! I'm gonna see how I like it in a couple of months. I'm getting back to music with a new recording project and a new cover band. If I still feel it's the best bass ever I will probably order another one just like it to go with flats. Only without the relic. Perhaps in shell pink or something

I went into my local Luthiers shop to get a minor issue fixed on my jazz bass. While waiting I browsed the p basses they had. And eventually picked up the one I thought I for sure wouldn't buy. Roasted neck? Not sure. Relic? Not really my thing. Badass bridge? Nothing wrong with the bend steel...

Sweetwater isn't shipping to Europe. In fact I only can visit the sweetwater site if I am on a US VPN, otherwise it says that you are offline.

I think we might be checking different Thomann sites. Of these only a B stock performer is showing up as in stock on Thomann.

Nope.. I emailed them on Wednesday, that I haven't heard from them while they guy initially said it would be shipped right away. Apparently some technician wanted to check them first because this was the first batch they received.. no news after that.
