    Neck Plate on a 2003 USA P Bass

    Yeah, I think it is a Highway 1 P bass. I just got it on eBay where it was being sold as a Fender USA Precision bass. Got it for 495.00 which isn't bad, but I was looking for a standard USA P Bass. Anyone have thoughts on the Highway 1 vs the standard USA P Bass?

    Neck Plate on a 2003 USA P Bass

    When I take the neck off, the barcode number is different than the serial number decal. The barcode number says 0061287-xxx while the serial number of the headstock is Z3068xxx. Is this odd? Is there any pencil markings when you take your neck off that say P bass etc.? Thank you.

    Does anyone know what the neckplate on a 2003 USA Fender Precision bass should look like? Was it engraved with a "Fender" logo or is it a plain non engraved plate like the old Fenders? Also did the tuners have the F logo on them in 2003? Thanks.
