    Explain the Fender Bass VI

    Hi, tuned an octave below guitar, these tenor basses were effectively wielded by Foley in Miles Davis's electric bands of the late eighties. He killed on both bass parts and guitar-like solos. He is the only player I've ever seen use this as his main ax.
