can anybody inform me if running the line out on a roland micro cube bass rx kills the speaker?

thanx for the suggestions....may now need bigger rig, the band i play steel guitar in wants me to double some on bass....

i would like some suggestions for an amp to run my line 6 bass pod into..a am playing a fender jazz bass for accompaning a pianist, so i don't need lots of volume...hopefully an amp that doesn't colr the pod settings too much...thanks.
