    Kramer XL8 Strings

    Does anyone have any suggestions on where I could buy strings for the Kramer XL8 8 string (short scale) or if you match bass / guitar strings what gauges do you use or recommend? Thanks for the help.

    Japanese Made Basses

    Not sure how popular the are but I have had my heart set on a Japanse hand made Combat bass. It's very hard to get any information on them. Anyone know anything about them? They are sort of a custom maker, everything by hand etc.. Thanks again for any opinions.
