That's what I thought... however some bass player friends preferred a higher-watt amp over the cab. Seems dangerous to me?

My big question is the 1001RB can deliver 460 watts at 8ohms to the 410RBH which is rated at 800 watts. Will there be any issues with compatibility/damage to the amp or cab at these ratings? I obviously know nothing when it comes to watts and Ohms :cool:

I demoed a 700RB with a NEO410 a few days ago and it was pounding with the volume knob at 3 drool

I also want enough power should I ever want to expand the rig... say add a 115RBH :woot:

Hey all, I'm a total rookie when it comes to gear. I just bought an Epiphone Tobias Standard IV last month and I am now looking to purchase a rig for jamming and small gigs. I've had my eye on the GK 1001RB amp and the GK 410RBH cab. Any insight into this gear would be appreciated. :bassist:

I've been playing off and on for years. I just never made the leap into serious gear territory. I've always used small combo amps to practice with.
