Bass combo - help choose pls...

So what's the problem with it do you think, the speaker, cab, pre-amp or power portion? Wouldn't a pedal or 2 make the tone better? And if you don't mind, why hasn't anybody said anything about tube amps? I'm asking all of that as the guy that's never played a bass or electric period so...

Bass combo - help choose pls...

I jumped on the B100c about 6 this morning. Just felt like it was too good a deal to pass. And to quote "more power, I want it louder" Quiet Riot (or maybe Tim the Tool Man Taylor) But seriously, I still need cables and would like maybe a couple pedals, strap and locks, and ... Seeing lots of...

Bass combo - help choose pls...

I like your way of thinking and I am almost 60. Problem is, it's Christmas time so whatever I spend on me I have to spend double on my wife (she's a good woman, want to keep her happy) and I just spent a load on buying my bass. I'm already in deep as one now.

That's my thought, just seems like so many people on here loving the Rumble. Think I even saw a Rumble 40 group.

Awesome GK MB112 deal at Sweetwater

If you're curious, industrial welding machines have been out maybe 7 years now that use this technology that dropped the size and weight about 70%. I worked at major railroad car mfr. that bought many when first introduced. It basically cuts the top and bottom peaks off the sine waves, meaning...

Hey Obvious, I just put out a thread under amps and cabs asking what's better, this or the Rumble 40 for same price on Amazon. I don't gig but I wonder how many will jump on this?

Stupid deal of the day at Musician's Friend has the Acoustic B100C 1x12 on sale today only for $200 or I can get the Rumble 40 on sale from Fender through Amazon for $200. My budget might go another $50 but that's it. I will probably never be in a band due to age and physical limitations of...

Yes, Versatility is the reason I picked the VI and I definitely would like to have serious bass (read: Dazed and Confused, Might as Well go for a Soda, etc.) but I thought I could get there with the VI and maybe an EQ pedal or something. Oh, I also have 0 experience with pedals. There is an...

So if I'm in my basement alone, what would I need to be loud but also not have to turn it up to 11?

Official Squier Vintage Modified Bass VI Club

Hi Folks! Just purchased a used VMB VI on Reverb but it won't be here until Dec 8th. I haven't played a guitar for 40 years and never a base, so the chances of me playing in a band are pretty slim. I searched this forum for recommendation for a good yet cost friendly amp but didn't find...
