After 40 years of drumming (and light strumming) I decided to become a bass player. I've been playing for 4 years and have gigged twice with my Americana band Broken Bridges. (No connection to Toby Kieth.) I have bass GAS to the max and have managed to accumulate a decent collection. My favorite basses are my 78 Musicmaster and my G&L L-1000. I also have taught myself to do basic set-ups. This comes in handy when I need to sneak yet another bass into the house. I just tell my wife that it's a job for a friend.
