    Please help with singer/drummer battle

After discussing things with the rest of the band (except the drummer and singer) we all decided that we're going to have a "come to Jesus" meeting with everyone. Lay it all out there. From there, because we don't have any shows booked that we need to rehearse for, we'll spend time at lower...

    Please help with singer/drummer battle

The consensus of the rest of the band is that the singer is the biggest issue. Everybody agrees that the drummer is being arrogant and he has agreed to let the singer stick around and see if the issue resolves itself. However, the singer doesn't know a lot of the music, or at least doesn't have...

    Please help with singer/drummer battle

The issue with the drummer is that he doesn't view the equipment as important. He thinks we can play shows and just mic combo amps. I personally have my huge Hartke rig. But the other guys don't have anything gig worthy.

    Please help with singer/drummer battle

Hey guys. I'm having band trouble, and figured some of you could offer advice. First, a little band history. I've known the two guitarists since 2000. We grew up in the same town and watched each other grow as musicians. In 2010, I moved to another town to go to college. The two guitarist...

    Schecter Neck Won't Straighten

That's good to know. I just don't know how tight is too tight when it comes to truss rods

    Schecter Neck Won't Straighten

I play a 2009 Schecter Stiletto Studio 5. I got it straight from the factory so it has never been in a shop or anything. I kept the factory setup with the exception of a slight saddle adjustment. I just joined a metalcore/progressive metal band here in Tallahassee. They play in Drop B. After...

    Can a Hartke compete?

So now I have another question for you guys. The guy with the Hartke 3500 just cut me a deal. The head for $125 if my band gets our scrims (banner things on the sides that some bands use) at his print shop ( which we were going to do anyway). Let's say I have the 350 watt head and it isn't...

    Can a Hartke compete?

Thanks for all the info guys. I really appreciate it. I think I'm going to go with the LH500, as much as I want the GK. We have our first gig as a full band (they've never had a bassist since they started the band) a month from now, and I need a rig quick. We have to get our sound tight and I...

    Can a Hartke compete?

Out of all the rigs I've played through I prefer an 8x10 or two 4x10s more than anything else. I wast just assuming there was a reason I saw so many of those around.

    Can a Hartke compete?

When I was researching the Hartke heads I saw lots of setups with a 4x10 and a 1x15 so I assumed it was a good setup for those heads.

    Can a Hartke compete?

But will the Hartke LH500 keep up with the band? I would prefer to not spend 400 on a head because I'm on a moderately limited budget but I can always put in the extra hours at work if I need to.

    Can a Hartke compete?

That's what I was afraid of. There's also an ampeg 8x10 cab for 300 but it has a hole where the caster should be -_- And I ALWAYS wear hearing protection. I can't afford to lose my hearing as a musician. The other guys, however, will be deaf before 30.

    Can a Hartke compete?

That's good to hear. I want the GK but I could get a head and a cab for the price of hat head. I forgot to mention these are all on Craigslist in my area and all in great shape except one slider on the 3500 fell off.

    Can a Hartke compete?

Hey guys, this is my first post. I've been playing bass for 8 years now. I'm finally upgrading to a "big boy" rig. I just joined a progressive metal / metalcore band against my better judgement. There is a Hartke 3500 head for $250, a Hartke LH500 for $225, a Hartke Transient Attack with...
