The 750 can be used for pretty much anything. I'd assume most use the 750 for rock due to the built in overdrive, though I've rarely used the overdrive because I don't have a stereo switch to turn the OD on. I've gotten great tones from a Stingray HH into the 750 into a Mesa powerhouse 610 cab...
