Can't think of any reason why you couldn't.

You can run the mini-Duff clone at 9V or 18V.

It's the 9V preamp circuit reconfigured to fit on an 18V HAZ sized board.

Those are the first generation connectors lacking the friction tabs. Here's a pic of a preamp I just made for a club member that has the newer tabs (marked with arrows):

It's one of mine. It has the first generation plug connectors on the board. The newer versions have friction tabs to more securely hold the connectors in place. Btw, if anyone ever wanted to upgrade their older duff clone to the new connectors, I will do it free of charge. You will just have...

A HAZ preamp absolutely kills with passive pickups IMO. I paired it up with some passive Barts in my NS2b fretless....it's da bomb! :) I'd love to get my hands on a CRFM in the near future. I'm dying to try the HAZ- Dimarzio Model P/J combination.

You found yourself a real gem of a bass in that NS2JAR. I had a tough time putting it down so I could pack it up and ship it to you. That bad boy growled like a mofo and played like butter. :)

Here's the first really cool bass I saw on the tube. I wondered what it was for decades, but I didn't find out it was a Spector SB-1 until a couple of years ago.
