I love the Noctua fans and have used them in loud Avid/Sonnet rack enclosures but unfortunately they don’t make the right size for this application at 24v

Yeah, I would expect an improvement, to some degree. The fan replacement lowered and changed the quality of the hum (fewer brain-scrambling harmonics) but then the mechanical ‘isolation’ just lowered the noise level, over all. Give it a shot and good luck!

Old thread but I came here for the same issue. I've just replaced the OEM fan with an Orion OD6025-24HHB (from Invalid Link Removed). Not identical specs but same ballpark (24V, .15A) and much quieter. I couldn't find the CFM rating of the OEM fan anywhere so I chose the fan that struck the best...
