Primarily a guitar player, I played bass in my High School Jazz Band and learned to read notes and some theory. I still believe that bass and drums are the most FUN instruments tonplay, especially when you're in the pocket.
Nowadays, I just enjoy plunking along to my favorite records.
Pick or fingers, any technique that is called for I am happy to do. I see fingerstyle very akin to classical guitar.
