I have played out on a regular basis since the late 70's. Love being in a band. Was diagnosed with a brain tumor 3 years ago and although it's not terminal, it has caused an 80% loss of hearing in the left ear, along with balance issues and constant tinnitus. I am a work in progress when it comes to re learning how to play. Biggest fear is running by stops, dynamics. I will play out again, it's just a matter of gaining my confidence.
