    Mesa Bass Prodigy and PH410.

Hey! Does Bass Central still carry the Prodigy 4 and Powerhouse Cabs? If you do I would be interested in current prices of the Powerhouse 6x10 (Website lists $1,350 Without Shipping) and the Prodigy 4 for $1,800. If these prices are accurate I hope to do business with you soon as MESA...

Looking for first "Real" Rock bass amp and Cab Need Advice.

I agree Jimmy. Because its the "go to" of bass amps for great classic bass sounds I see why people make that assumption that "Ampeg is bust" just because they are no longer MADE in America. I heard they are still designed in WA State if memory of research is right. I love that tone but if...

I'm Just looking for Opinions on what other people think is the best rock rig UNDER 3K. I'm keeping everything on the table. From Hartke to MESA. All the Ampeg talk concerns me though so I'm probably going to avoid them as I've stated before on QC issues. So far on my list to give Heavy...

This "wait and buy a Blue Line 70's SVT off Ebay!!" gets to me. I don't feel like getting into a bidding war with someone on Ebay and losing again. I've had BAD experiences with Ebay IMO. :scowl:. I never see them on the "Buy It Now" section anyway just the Auctions. I'd prefer NEW anyway. But...

Ah! Finally someone mentioned Aguilar. I've heard their 6x10 is great for Hard Rock from a few online reviews but I have no experience with their amps or cabs just the OBP-2's & 3's in my Basses which I love!:bassist:

Thanks! I've played Spector since I was 18. I'm 21 now and started off with a NS-2A and now I've added a Ian Hill Euro to my collection as well. I love the older Kramer Spectors even though they were before my time. I love then and wont play anything but now. My G.A.S list has a US HAZ-LABZ...

Love GK for Price Value and Durability but sadly even though I love Robbie Merrill's tone and Duff McKagan's Its not what I'm after at the moment. I think they are very Uncolored sounding IMO.

I'm thinking of avoiding Ampeg due to continued QC from LOUD. Wish they would take a bit more pride in their history as an USA Product. :scowl: +1MESA. I love the Grind these amps have. They do a wonderful clean with TONS of bottom too IMO. A 4x10 would be great to my needs at the moment...

I saw a thread that compaired the 6x10 berd to a PH cab and for rock both cabs got good ratings so either at fixed price is okay. I'm buying the cab new. Thanks!

No reason other than looks. If Nothing sounds good as far as brand name I'll keep the Berg' 4x10 or 6x10 in mind as I just saw at least 20 threads of people HIGHLY recommending them. I can cough up for a GOOD quality speaker cab. I just dont want a dud amp head so I'm making the trip to "Try...
