    Short Scale Bass Strings

You might try cutting down a set of strings that are not tapewounds. Maybe they will not unwind so easily???

Best interface and program for online jamming?

I'm using Jamkazam with my bass through a Focusrite Scarlett Interface into a Windows 10 computer, and I am getting good results. Never tried it with Windows 7, so I'm not sure if that will work. But what you want to do Can be done.

Small Powered Monitor with Mic Stand

And yes, as Wasnex pointed out, the mic stand wouldn't have to thread into the monitor, it could just pass through (like the TC Helicon). By the way, has anyone had any experience with the "Talent" brand?

Small Powered Monitor with Mic Stand

Do you guys know of any small powered monitors that will do this? The base of the mic stand attaches to the bottom of the monitor, and the boom threads into the top.

    How to Provide More Luster

I have a walnut bass, with a nice natural finish, most likely some kind of hand rubbed oil. I would describe the finish as matte/satin. There is no open grain to fill and there are no blemishes. All I want to do is add some shine/luster to the finish to make it pop just a little. After I wipe...
