I've been playing guitars and bass since 1970, and my first professional (i.e., paying) gig was on bass in November 1970. I started out playing guitar (still do), but kept getting gigs playing bass, as it seems that guitarists always outnumber bassists! My passion for bass is still alive, and I recently swapped a no longer needed Carvin P.A. system for an as-new Peavey TKO 115S. It sounds like a bad deal, but I really didn't use the P.A. at all, and after installing needed handles and casters on the Peavey (heavy beast!), I'm hoping to get back to performing on bass, as well!:bassist:
