Primary bass is a Musicman Classic 5 string, I have a takamini acoustic and a UBass ,which is a lot of fun and always gets funny looks. I don't let go of the MusicMan much, its in my hands 99% of the time. For power I have two rigs, for the big stuff, I use an ash down head with a modified carvin neo 8x10 cabinet, it was made special for me and was the first one that they produced with the drive setup that I have, my only must have preamp is my sans amp tech21, thats got the butter inside of that little black box. I set most of the knobs at 12 o'clock, no need to tweak much. I do have an extensive pedal board but keep a separate sans for when I don't need the full board. For smaller stuff I use a orange 100w combo for coffee shops etc, but my weekly rig is the 8x10.
