    That is a really intersting option, but as of right now i think i will settle with just a effect pedal and maybe ad the mini crossover and the blender later on if i feel like it is necessary.

    I have a warwick std 4 with Kalium strings on it. I'm sorry i didnt really know how to explain it but what i meant was just some extra grit to just make it more "rough" without losing the beefiness or the sound of the bass, as i feel lots of overdrives do.

    alright. Well i play with the .055 - .110 gauge... cant find a set with gauges above .135 anywhere. Ive looked everywhere but only thing i can find is up to .135 :hmm:
