Will Lee / World's Most Dangerous Band recordings?

Hiram Bullock was a MONSTER guitarist! He had a couple of albums. Will Lee plays on it.

Should I sell a perfectly good p bass

I have bought/sold many basses, but I wish I had back my first "lefty" bass, a 1982 Fender P MIA. G&L's (two), MTD, Alembic Orion, etc., are gone and I have not really missed them. But that 1982 I miss, even with the dead spot (the worst of any bass I have owned). Don't sell.

    SM57, SM58, P2, or any other mic under 150?

We have been using higher-priced Shure's for vocals, but I have carried a near-twenty year old SM58 in my mixer case for years now. It really comes in handy when needed. Having said that, I prefer the SM57 for instruments, but the 58 will work (just needs a little finesse with the eq's)...

    NCBS Day (Joe's)

lol Cool video!!! EDIT: I know a guy who lifted a Peavey CS (not in a rack) 800 onto the side of the truck bed, intending to make a little room to place it into the bed. But....he forgot, and he drove off down the highway before hearing a loud crash. He found the amp scratched heavily, but...

    Finally Found a Shuttle 9.0!

(Feet were probably removed to make a "better" velcro connection.)

Floor fan for hot gigs recommendation please

Definitely squirrel-cage type fan. Added bonus, they usually come with a couple of ac receptacles, and some have a usb port.

    Question for you pick players

I landed on the .50 thickness. Same size when I play guitar, too. Probably I am just more comfortable with it.

What's your rig of choice for this weekend? Part 2.

For five of the next six weekends, I plan to use my recently purchased Genz Benz NeoX 1x12 combo on top of the matching 1x12 cabinet. Old Skool!!!

You still have that Modulus? To me, that was the one that got away. :(

Sire V5 vs Squier CV 70s Active Jazz?

Either Sire or Squier CV would be a good unit to build and modify. Right out of the box, I would choose Sire. But, if I am changing pups, changing (or adding) an active pre-amp, hardware, etc., then I would say it is a draw. You can't go wrong with either. (I have owned two Sires - one...

For Sale Just Over An Hour Away From Me...

I certainly do not know specs for each and every year, but all of the 4x10 Bassman's that I remember were open-back. I had a couple of friends (back in the late 70's, early 80's that had them, but I never thought they sounded good. Plus, at least one speaker has been changed..... Hard pass...

Running the PA in mono vs. stereo

The keyboardist - take two channels, pan one mostly left, pan the other mostly right. He is in "stereo" but the others are not.

New-To-Me Cab Day, GC used shipping, and getting older

Good for you!!! Now, rock out with your socks and crocks.... ;) I am older and found my "Lost Ark" just this year - a GB Combo at one site, and later the matching cab at another site. Now I have both.

America 250 concert in DC is lit!

I worked with a guy who performed with Tops in Blue for several years. According to him, there were several NCO's, one for every two performers, wearing headphones that listened to those two performers only. They noted each and every mistake and they were "graded" (for lack of a better word)...
