or if anyone has spector bass what kind of strings do u use

Hello all. I have just purchased a spector rebop 5 and brought replacement strings for it...dr hi beams 40-120. (which is smaller than the strings the bass came with) :bawl:but the B string will not fit in the bridge its to BIG!...are there certain strings you have to use with spector basses...
