G&L. There seems to be a consistency that a company as large as Fender can't guarantee. Definitely some amazing Fender Ps out there but I've also played a lot of duds, which I can't say of G&L.

Was wondering if any of you had ever successfully translated the Step 1 exercise in Effortless Mastery to bass. He covers it for piano, horns, and singing but I'm sort of just guessing on how to apply it to my practice.

I would definitely check out La Bella Deep Talkin' round wounds. Tons of low end and an amazing, balanced tone all around. Be careful while stringing, however. They've been known to break, though it's never happened to me. Knock on wood.
