    Looking for a challenging/technical reggae bassline to learn. Any suggestions?

    Agreed that classic reggae definitely won't be "technical", but one of my favorite more complex lines is Black Uhuru's "Darkness", Robbie Shakespeare absolutely crushes - check the live version in Chicago 1984.

    diggin up this ancient thread to say - no one mentioned Bertram McLean, aka Ranchie?! He played on countless killers from Channel 1 and the like - the "Beware" / "Kunta Kinte" bassline alone makes him legend. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bertram_McLean
