I have an MXR noise clamp that I've been using for a little while and it's starting to give me problems. For some reason, it won't "un-clamp" my signal, even with the threshold all the way down. I've tried turning up the volume of the pedals in the effects loop, but it doesn't make a difference...

I tried out my new steel leather pedal this morning and I'm having some problems. When I turn it on and play, it makes a popping noise every time I hit a string. When I turn both nobs on the pedal all the way to the right, it makes a horrible ring that doesn't stop until I turn it off or unplug...
